Christmas in July

Hi Blogger,
Christmas is getting closer and closer ;) and many blogs started to have a christmas theme is week. I can promise you that there will be more X-Mas coming up, I´m just finishing the projects. Here is just a little card I made. I wanted to try the technique of folding this card and here is what came out of it:

Scrapbook Layout

Hello there out in blogland,
Here I present you a scrapbooking layout. It´s Cape Kidnappers in New Zealand, a gannet colony. Even though my trip was ages ago I just finished my scrapbook pages or at least some of them. This one fits to the Oh, Alice Challenge, where you have to have a bird on your project.

Sketch vs Aliens

Hi Everybody,
just a little card today. I justed a sketch by For Fun Challenges and created a birthday card. The background is vellum with little planets, than I used a digital image and coloured it with coloured pencils. The sentiment means "Extraterrestrial wishes for your birthday!".

today I made a little birthday card for my uncle. He likes frogs and I needed a Men-Card, so I combined both. I used a sketch by Cards and More.

Vintage Pastel - A challenge for me

Hi Everybody,
Thank you for all your lovely comments last week! I really appreciated them! This week I was challenged a lot! At Moving Along With The Times the theme was "Vintage Pastel" and it came together with a sketch.
I love vintage, but in combination with pastelic colours? That was difficult! I really hope I used enough vintage in my card.
I coloured the mermaid with coloured pencils and some of her scales are coloured with glitter glue. Unfortunately you can´t see that very well.

Die Vogelhochzeit - The Bird Wedding

Hi Everybody,
for I need more wedding cards this year (Why is everybody getting married at the moment??) I started crafting again. And I found a beautiful sketch in one of the challenges and this is my first try in using one. I hope it´s ok this way. I used a digital stamp and coloured it with coloured pencils. The song is the first line of a famous German folk song "Die Vogelhochzeit".
